12th edition of DefExpo on Land, Naval & Homeland Security Systems, a flagship biennial event of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat between 10 to 13 March 2022. It is organized by the Defence Exhibition Organisation (DEO), GOI, New Delhi. Inaugural/official functions and seminars will take place at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre (MMCEC) where there will be 1028 exhibitors from 70 countries, more than 3000 delegates and 1,200,000 visitors.
Traditionally, the DefExpo was held at exhibitions hall New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan; however, the last edition of the event was held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh when emphasis was given to the Uttar Pradesh defence corridor, and the main theme of Defence Expo 2020 was: ‘India: The Emerging Defence Manufacturing Hub’. The focus of the 2020 event was: ‘Digital Transformation of Defence’.
It aims to achieve self-reliance in defence and increase exports as well as make India a major destination of land, naval, air & homeland security systems and defence engineering.
Exhibition participants can book early till 15 December and receive a 50% discount in participation charges.
