The Embassy of India, Slovenia is pleased to announce that taking pride in an extremely diverse and successful agricultural sector, India is this year's partner country of the 61st edition of the International Fair of Agriculture and Food (AGRA) in Gornja Radgona. The Fair will take place between 26 and 31 August 2023.
India has an abundant production of cereals, rice, pulses, fruits, vegetables, spices and other crops. Its advances in agricultural technology, such as smart solutions and digital platforms, represent a significant contribution to the efficiency of the agricultural sector. India - Slovenia cooperation at the AGRA fair will thus enable the exchange of knowledge, experience, technologies, innovative solutions and trade opportunities, which will be beneficial for both the countries and the wider European area.
India is the proponent to celebrate 2023 as the International Year of Millets.
