Online talk and film screening of ‘Durga Puja in Kolkata’

     Durga Puja is an annual festival, the biggest festival in Kolkata, celebrating the worship of the Hindu mother goddess Durga.

2. Due to the importance of the festival for humankind, Durga Puja festival was inscribed on the list of 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity' by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - UNESCO in December 2021.

3. In cooperation with the India Habitat Centre and Doordarshan, the Embassy of India in Slovenia invites you to the online talk and film screening of ‘Durga Puja in Kolkata’.
