About Us Visa Fee

With effect from 1st February 2024, applicant’s residents in Slovenia seeking Passport/Visa/Consular services in Embassy of India, Ljubljana are required to deposit/transfer the exact amount of prescribed fees [Fee + ICWF Charge] into the bank account of Embassy of India - Ljubljana and submit the payment proof along with duly filled in application form and required documents at the time of submission of the printed form on either of the Consular Day [Wednesday or Friday between 10:00 to 12:00 Hrs] to the Embassy.

The applicant should make separate fee deposit/bank transfer for each type of service. The Embassy does NOT accept fee(s) by Credit/Debit Cards Personal cheques or in Cash.

Additional Information 

  •  Visa Free Countries : Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan do not need a visa to enter India. However, Nepali nationals require visa if they enter India from China, which is granted GRATIS

  •  GRATIS Visa :  Nationals of Afghanistan, Argentina (restricted to Tourist, Business and Transit visas only), Bangladesh, Mongolia, DPR Korea, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa and Uruguay (Tourist only), Seychelles (Work/Employment Visas)

Transportation of mortal remains of Indian nationals to India : -

The following documents are necessary for Public Health CLEARANCE of Human Remains : -  

1. Death Certificate issued by the Health Department and International Death Certificate clearly mentioning the cause of death.

 If the cause of death is mentioned as Cardio-respiratory arrest/natural death/pending to be ascertained after post-mortem/not possible to clearly mentioned the exact cause of death due to some unavoidable reasons-then in all such situations, the Health Department is required to issue a certificate stating “the person has not died because of the infections/communicable/notifiable disease”.      

2.  Embalming certificate .

 THE ABOVE CERTIFICATES HAVE TO BE IN ENGLISH BY THE AUTHORIZED TRANSLATOR

3. NOC from the Embassy

4. Passport of the deceased (required to be cancelled at the Embassy)

5.  Flight details

Note : The above documents in original (with English translation where required), photocopy of the documents and passport of the deceased are required to be presented tot he Health Officer at the airport for clearance of the mortal remains.
