10th Ayurveda Day

Embassy of India in Ljubljana organised the 10th Ayurveda Day on 27 September 2025 at City Park, Ljubljana highlighting the significance of Ayurveda, India’s ancient and holistic system of medicine.  Ambassador of India stressed the value of ‘balance’ both within and without as the essential core of holistic healing that is the hallmark of Ayurveda emphasizing this year’s theme ‘Ayurveda for People and Planet’.

During the event, presentations were made by Ayurveda practitioners, Dr. Lakshmi Ravindranath and Mr. Gregor Obronek highlighting the benefits of Ayurveda for a healthy living. The interactions with the Ayurveda practitioners of Slovenia focusing on the traditional medical system of India were also held.  The event saw participation of practitioners, groups and Indophiles from all over Slovenia.  An exhibition cum stalls displaying Ayurveda products, the natural medicines and their importance in maintaining good health were showcased by the Ayurvedic practitioners which were much appreciated by the large crowd of local visitors and attendees.   In addition, a short rendition of Bharatnatyam dance was performed by Saleem Ghazea Group and a special yoga session presenting the preventive measures by inculcating yoga in daily life to enhance overall well being was made by KAYA.
